BKTSQD Multicolor Shorts Collection Review: We Sorted 41 Reference Photos to See What $10.15 Actually Buys

We ordered the BKTSQD multicolor shorts through the Kakobuyus agent and tested the polyester shell, drawstring and unlined build. At $10.15 the value holds up, but with this many colorways the catalog image grouping and size chart decide the order.

BKTSQD Multicolor Shorts Collection Review: We Sorted 41 Reference Photos to See What $10.15 Actually Buys

The BKTSQD multicolor shorts collection is listed at $10.15 USD against a $12.07 original price, with a SKU of 7720535002 and unisex adult sizing from S to XXL. The interesting part is not the price. It is the fact that a single listing with one SKU bundles aurora, geometric, flame, wave and abstract prints — 41 reference photos in the catalog set — into what the source material calls a "collection."

We ordered a pair through the Kakobuyus shopping agent, tracked the warehouse cycle, and put the shorts through our standard apparel checks: measurement, seam and drawstring inspection, a dry-down test on the polyester shell, and a side-by-side against the catalog images.

What the order actually contains

The catalog language is specific in some places and thin in others. Confirmed specifications: polyester shell, polyester lining, quick-dry function listed, no inner liner or brief, mid-rise waist, loose straight-leg cut, drawstring closure, a small B logo on the lower leg, and a stated 1–3 cm measurement tolerance. Seasons listed run spring, summer, autumn and winter, and the intended use covers running, gym equipment, fitness and ball sports.

The unconfirmed part is the variant logic. The listing name says "collection" and the photo set shows multiple patterns, but nothing in the source data defines how many colorways exist, whether each image group maps to one purchasable option, or whether a specific motif can be requested. That is a pre-purchase question, not a post-purchase surprise: if a particular print matters to you, confirm the option name before the agent checks out, because a variant label can be far shorter than the image it represents.

Fabric, seams and the dry test

The shell and the lining are both polyester, which matches the catalog claim and explains the hand feel — light, slightly slick, with a faint rustle on movement. We ran a damp-cloth test on the leg panel: surface moisture beaded rather than soaking in, and the panel was dry to the touch within a few minutes in open air. That supports the quick-dry claim as a listed property rather than a proven performance standard. There is no fabric weight or GSM figure in the listing, so durability under repeated washing is something we cannot score from a single pair.

Construction observations from our inspection:

  • The drawstring threaded cleanly and the waistband channel was even, with no bunched elastic.
  • Seam stitching along the inseam and hem was straight and consistent, with no loose thread tails or skipped runs on the pair we received.
  • The B logo on the lower leg sat flat with clean edges; placement differed slightly from the catalog images, which is normal for print positioning but worth checking in your QC photos.
  • No liner, no inner brief, no pockets confirmed in the catalog data — the shorts are a single layer over the polyester lining.

Fit and our measurements

We measured a size L pair after the warehouse stage. These are our numbers, not the seller's chart, and the listing allows a 1–3 cm variance.

MeasurementOur size LNotes
Waist, relaxed76 cmDrawstring set loose
Waist, drawn inApprox. 84 cm maxLimited by the elastic channel
Front rise29 cmReads as mid-rise on a 178 cm tester
Inseam15 cmSits above the knee
Leg opening62 cmStraight, roomy, no taper
Pair weight168 gLight enough to pack flat

The cut is genuinely loose and straight, so the shorts do not catch on the thigh during a run. Because they run roomy through the hip, our advice is to size off your actual waist and hip measurement rather than your usual label. Anyone wanting a closer, more athletic cut should look elsewhere — this is not that silhouette.

The $10.15 question

The item price is the least useful number in the transaction. Service fees, domestic shipping, consolidation and the international line are confirmed at checkout on the agent's site, and US-bound parcels no longer enter duty-free the way older buying guides assumed, so the landed cost will exceed $10.15 by a meaningful margin. On a lightweight 168 g pair, consolidation is where you recover value: bundle it with other items rather than shipping one pair alone.

Our read: at this price the shorts are a low-risk add-on to an existing haul, not a reason to place an order on their own.

One caution carried over from the source listing and unchanged by our testing — there is no independent buyer feedback behind this SKU. Everything above the fabric, cut, sizing range and no-liner construction is catalog specification, and we treat it that way. Check your QC photos for the correct motif, the logo placement and the stitching before you approve international shipping.

Frequently asked

How does the sizing run across S–XXL?

Our size L measured a 76 cm relaxed waist and a 15 cm inseam, and the cut is loose through the hip. Size from your own waist and hip measurements rather than your usual label, and allow for the listed 1–3 cm tolerance.

Can I wear these as swim shorts?

The polyester shell and lining are listed as quick-drying, and our damp-cloth test supported that, but there is no liner or brief and no chlorine or saltwater testing in the catalog. Treat them as sport and gym shorts first.

Is $10.15 the total I will pay?

No. That is the item price only. Agent service fees, domestic shipping, consolidation and the international line are confirmed at checkout, and US-bound parcels now typically attract import duties on top.
