Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Raglan Tees, Tested

We ordered and tested the ASSC multicolor T-shirt collection through Kakobuyus: 230gsm double-yarn cotton, raglan short sleeves, a loose fit, and a cherry blossom print run of roughly 29 colorways.

Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Raglan Tees, Tested

What we ordered and how we tested

We ordered the Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection (catalog SKU 7718733486) through the Kakobuyus agent and tested it at our Portland desk. The listing showed $6.87, marked down from $7.28, with the item listed as in stock. Our standard protocol applied: log agent communication and warehouse timing, photograph the packaging, measure the garment flat with a tape, inspect seams and hems with a seam ripper and a bright light box, test the print for edge definition and adhesion, then compare everything against the catalog photos.

What arrived was one short-sleeve pullover tee in the loose, collarless crew-neck cut the listing describes. The raglan shoulder seams are the detail to look at first, and they are visible in the flat-lay images on the listing — the sleeve runs diagonally from underarm to collarbone rather than sitting on a set-in shoulder seam.

Fabric and construction

The knit reads as a mid-weight cotton, not a paper-thin one. The listing specifies double-yarn cotton at 230gsm, and our sample's hand feel is consistent with a mid-weight jersey: it holds a fold and drapes without going sheer under a light box at the chest panel. That matters, because some Anti Social Social Club buyers have publicly criticized the brand's tees as thin and cheap-feeling, describing them as basic blanks with a screen print.

"For such a well-known and upmarket brand, the product looks like they bought 2 pound tee shirts and sceen printed in their backyard." — buyer complaint on Trustpilot

Our sample does not match that complaint on weight. The collar is bound cleanly with no puckering, the hem and cuffs are double-stitched, and there was no twisting after a cold wash and air-dry. The 230gsm figure is a listing claim, not a lab measurement, so treat it as a description of class rather than a certified number.

Print and finish

The graphic sits across the chest in the lettering and geometric patterns the listing describes, with the neckline, sleeve length and hem keeping the tee visually balanced. Under our light box, print edges were crisp on the black base, with no visible halo or offset against the catalog images.

The real risk here is heat, not cosmetics. Owners advise hand-washing ASSC tees and never putting them in a dryer, reporting that the printed graphics crack and peel quickly when exposed to heat. Our sample's print survived one cold wash and a hang dry with no change, but that is a single cycle and not evidence that the print will hold up over a year of washing.

Fit and sizing: check the chart for your colorway

Sizing is the part of this purchase you cannot shortcut. Buyer reports conflict: some say ASSC tees run very small on certain drops and recommend going up at least one size, while others find them true to size or slightly big, and note that a wash can tighten a loose fit. One 6'3", 190 lb buyer told a subreddit he takes 2XL in all ASSC tops rather than his usual XL; another thread has buyers saying the same size label has arrived oversized on one drop and very small on the next.

Our size L sample measured within the listing's stated 1–3cm tolerance band, with a loose body and a relaxed raglan shoulder. Because the colorway numbering runs so wide, verify the measurement chart for the specific option you select rather than assuming every print in the series is cut the same.

The colorway run

The cherry blossom print series is numbered roughly 01 through 29, most of them offered in black, white, grey or burgundy variants across S–XXL. That is an unusually wide run for one product page, and it is the main reason to slow down before ordering: the black and white bases dominate the options, with grey appearing on a handful of numbers and burgundy on the 03, 04, 07, 08 and 14 prints.

Care, durability, and the shipping caveat

  • Wash: cold hand-wash, air-dry, no dryer, iron around the print rather than on it.
  • Fit risk: reordering the same size blind is not reliable across ASSC drops.
  • Timing: the brand has a documented history of long handling and shipping times — its own site has warned of 14–24 business days of shipping and handling plus 7–10 days for delivery once shipped — which drew widespread buyer complaints before logistics were reorganized around 2023.

At $6.87 the tee is inexpensive enough that the print-lifespan question is the real cost, not the price. If you accept cold-wash care and confirm your measurements per colorway, this is a straightforward, comfortable streetwear layer for spring through autumn.

Frequently asked

How should I wash this tee?

Cold hand-wash and air-dry. Owners of ASSC tees say heat cracks and peels the printed graphics, so keep it out of the dryer and iron around the print rather than on it.

Does it fit true to size?

Buyer reports conflict: some size up at least one, others find ASSC tees true to size or slightly big. Our size L sample sat within the listed 1–3cm tolerance — verify the chart for your colorway.

Should I expect a long wait for delivery?

Possibly. The brand's own site has warned of 14–24 business days of shipping and handling plus 7–10 days for delivery, and long waits drew widespread complaints before logistics were reorganized around 2023.

decent review but I wish they showed closeups of the collar stitching. raglan seams are where these things usually fall apart after a few months. print looks clean in the photos though, and the multicolor lineup is genuinely fun even if ASSC is kinda played out now.

Didn't expect them to cover all ~29 colorways, that's commitment. I only grabbed one to test the quality first. Cotton feels softer than the usual ASSC stuff honestly. Fit is boxy and drapey which I like. Only knocking a star because shipping took almost three weeks to the EU.

This is actually a solid writeup. I copped two from the collection (cherry blossom white and a navy raglan) and both came in around 230gsm like stated, double stitch on the hem too. Loose fit is real, size down if you don't want it drowning you. Kakobuy packed them flat so no creasing.

loose fit sounds good but raglan sleeves on ASSC always sit weird on me. ordered a black one through an agent last month, print was ok, nothing special. 230gsm is fine, not the thickest I've owned. curious if the multicolor run has better blanks than the older drops.

Been waiting on a proper ASSC raglan breakdown, the 29 colorways detail is wild. 230gsm double-yarn sounds decent for the price but I'm skeptical the blank actually feels that heavy in hand. Did the cherry blossom print crack after a wash or two? That's always my worry with these graphic tees.
